BECAUSE Your Arts Council:
- Serves more than 19,000 area residents directly each year, and thousands more through grants to other organizations Contributes to student success by helping schools teach the arts and other subjects in creative ways. Enhances the quality of life for the entire community through performances, exhibits, educational programs, and other events. Strengthens other cultural organizations by awarding competitive grants. Provides opportunities for local-area artists to showcase their work. Promotes local cultural events through print publications and Internet postings. Build a positive community image that attracts tourists, new residents, and new business.
